An 18th century pair of No.2 hollow & round moulding planes by Benjamin Dyson of Manchester, circa 1772 - 1791
Embossed maker's marks 'B DYSON' to the toes with the '1' overstamped '2'on each heel.
Good length blade irons with original wedges, the hollow blade is missing its top two inches. A few minor surface pitting and staining spots, please see images.
Previous owner's stamps 'R.CAPPS', 'G.SAXELBY', G.HILL' and 'F.FROW.
Some minor knocks and scratches.
