A very little used vintage pricking wheel or stitching wheel by EDWARD PRESTON of Birmingham.

Referred to as a tracing wheel in the 1909 PRESTON catalogue.

Marked 'PRESTON' with the EP trade mark.

The steel pointed wheel retains much of its original blued finish and marks approximately 7 points per inch.

Very good beechwood handle with brass ferrule.

6³/₁₆ inches (157mm) overall length.
