A very tidy 3/16 inch or 5mm JB ADDIS spoon carving gouge.

Marked 'JB ADDIS & SONS SHEFFIELD' on one side of the blade and '9 PRIZE MEDALS 51 & 62' on the other.

Not marked with a sweep number however this gouge is a good match to a London Pattern No.25 sweep.

Good boxwood handle with brass ferrule.

No previous owner's stamps.
