A scarce early VERITAS sharpening system by LEE VALLEY TOOLS of Canada.

The system is made up of a precision honing guide and an angle jig set.

Marked 'LICENCED BY LEE VALLEY TOOLS CANADA PAT PEND' and 'MANUFACTURED BY FOOTPRINT TOOLS LTD SHEFFIELD ENGLAND' on the honing guide.

Also stamped 'FOOTPRINT SHEFFIELD ENGLAND' on the large knurled brass screw head.

Spring loaded guide roller with three different heights.

The guide will hold blades up to 2³/₈ inches wide.

All parts move freely and tighten securely.
