A good hornbeam carvers' mallet.

Believed to be by KIRSCHEN Two Cherries of Germany although the trade label is missing.

The hornbeam head is just under 4 inches or 100mm in diameter at its widest point and just over 4" (103mm) long.

Very good ash wood handle.
