A good MOORE'S PATENT oil can by MOORE & WRIGHT of Sheffield.

Marked 'MOORE'S PATENT' around the brass spout.

Believed to be a No.250 oil can.

The MOORE & WRIGHT 1935 catalogue says:

"This is the only satisfactory Leak-proof Oilcan on the Market. It is quite automatic, and does not need pressing on any object to get the oil out.  The body of the can is made from good sound tin, and the bottoms are of brass"

Good sprung action to the brass base.
