A 2 foot 4 fold boxwood rule by RABONE of Birmingham.
Marked 'JOHN RABONE & SONS BIRMM WARRAND BOXWOOD'.
Arch main joint with brass tipped ends.
Divided into eighths, tenths, twelfths and sixteenths.
9/16 inch wide sections.
Retains all three brass locating pins.
Faint and illegible previous owner's mark over the 'WARRAND BOXWOOD' mark, please see images.
There is an old but firm repair to one end and each leg is marked with three dots or punch marks, please see close-up images.
A few minor surface knocks and scratches.
