An interesting adjustable spanner or wrench.

Believed to be an early example of the RAPID self adjusting spanner patented (No.252523) by Samuel Lowden EVANS of Ealing.

Similar in action to the Fastfit cam type of adjustable wrenches.

Marked 'PAT APR FOR H - F' to one side of the handle with '6669' to the other.

Hanging hole to the end of the handle.

The adjustable jaw moves well and occasionally catches.

Plenty of surface knocks, scratches and spots, please see images.

81/4 inches (210mm) overall length.
