A very little used RECORD No 04 smoothing plane.

Dismantled, cleaned, checked, oiled and reassembled.

Fitted with a full length 2 inch RECORD tungsten vanadium steel blade iron and matching cap iron, 2¹/₈ inches remain below the slot.

Retains the majority of the original finish throughout.

Excellent hardwood handles with original lacquer and trade label to the rear handle.

All parts move freely and tighten securely.
