A tidy and very little used RECORD 05 1/2 jack plane.

Dismantled, cleaned, checked, oiled and reassembled.

Fitted with a near full length 2³/₈ inch RECORD tungsten vanadium steel blade iron and matching cap iron.  A little over 2¹/₈ inches remains below the slot.

Small patch of plating loss to the front right edge of the lever cap, please see close-up image.

Retains the majority of the original finish throughout.

Very good hardwood handles which almost all of their original lacquer finish.

A few minor surface knocks, scratches and spots.

All parts move freely and tighten securely.
