Dismantled, cleaned, checked, oiled and reassembled.

This plane has been re-finished in black by its previous owner, a nice tidy job to match their other (STANLEY) planes.

Fitted with a good length 2³/₈ inch RECORD tungsten vanadium steel blade iron and matching cap iron, a little over 1⁷/₈ inches remain below the slot.

Very good hardwood handles.
