A very clean and little used 9 inch No 708 brass plated hardwood spirit level by I & D SMALLWOOD of Birmingham.

Birmingham's last rule and level maker, manufacturing up until 1999.

Marked 'I & D SMALLWOOD LTD MAKERS BIRMINGHAM MADE IN ENGLAND NO 708 - 9  WARRANTED CORRECT' on the top brass plate.

Bubble and tube are intact.

This level retains the majority of its original finish throughout, please see images.
