The round shouldered blade is marked 'W GILPIN WEDGES MILLS WARRANTED 2' on one cheek and stamped 'C 71' on the other.

12⁷/₁₆ inches from the poll to the cutting edge.

Good, probably original, hardwood shaft, 25¹/₂ inches overall length.
