A rare group of six antique saddlers stuffing irons.

Two are marked 'BLANCHARD' and all are the French style of stuffing irons or 'Rembourroir'.

The group includes a seat iron plus five different irons of varying widths and lengths with grooves to each side at the tips, please see images.

Some minor surface spots to the blades.

All have wonderful boxwood handles with shapely brass ferrules, four have numbers stamped to the ferrules, please see all images.

A few old but stable splits and cracks, one repaired with wire.

Between 9³/₁₆ and 23¹/₂ inches (235-598mm) overall length.
