Possibly craftsman made.

8³/₈ inch long chamfered steel base with rounded ends and textured sole.

Two brass threaded bars with nuts to allow adjustment.

The clear glass bubble tube is intact.

8¹/₂ inch long brass level tube with knurled brass finials.

9⁵/₈ inches long overall.

Housed in a bespoke wooden box with hinged lid.
