A clean and tidy ovolo profile sash window moulding plane by Pascal AVENELL & SONS of Birmingham, circa 1861 - 1911.

Marked 'AVENELL & SONS' with the Labor Omnia Vincit (Work Conquers All) trade mark to the toe, this mark is not shown in any of the BPM editions.

Also stamped '1/2 2' on the heel.

Good length blade iron and original wedge.

No previous owner's stamps.
