A graduated same owner set of 5 firmer gouges by SORBY of Sheffield.

Approximate sizes: 1/4 (in-cannel), 5/16, 1/2, 3/4 and 1 inch

The smaller in-cannel gouge is marked 'I & H SORBY CAST STEEL' on the blade with the other four marked 'I SORBY CAST STEEL'.

All have good boxwood handles with brass ferrules.

Previous owner's stamps 'W BARNES' and 'R C PEARSON' to all handles with 'BRITT' to two and 'HDP' to one.

Between 9⁷/₁₆ - 11 inches (240 - 280mm) overall length.
