A very good 1/2 inch (12.5mm) mortice chisel by WARD & PAYNE of Sheffield.

Marked 'SOLID STEEL WARRANTED WARD CAST STEEL' with the Hammers over Anvil trade mark to the top of the blade.

A few minor surface scratches and spots to the blade, please see images.

Excellent boxwood handle.

Previous owner's stamps 'J PERRIN'.
