Marked 'H TAYLOR SHEFFIELD ENG' with the Acorn trade mark to the blade.

Not marked with a sweep number however this fishtail gouge is a good match to a London pattern No.54 x 6 sweep.

Very good beech wood handle with line decoration and brass ferrule.

Previous owner's stamp 'L LEATHLEY'.
