A nice vintage sharpening steel from cutler and tool merchant Sidney WILSON of Ipswich.

Marked 'S WILSON 50 UPPER ORWELL ST IPSWICH' at the top of the steel.

Good rosewood handle with steel ring and brass ferrule with knurled decoration.

The steel is 10 inches long from the tip to the base of the ferrule collar and shows signs of use as expected, please see images.
