A vintage pair of adjustable wooden shoe keepers or trees.

Used to maintain the original shape and prevent creases whilst also reducing moisture and odour.

Both are faintly marked 'USE MELTONIAN CREAM FOR GOOD SHOES'.

The handles are are attached to the toe by sprung bars which locate into one of four pairs of holes allowing the user to adjust the length.

Between 9 and 10¹/₄ inches (228 - 260mm) overall length depending on which pair of holes are used.
