A good 5/16 inch or 8mm deep curved or long bent carving gouge by HENRY TAYLOR of Sheffield.

Marked 'HENRY TAYLOR' to the top of the blade.

Not marked with a sweep number however this gouge is a good match to a London pattern No.20 sweep.

Good beech wood handle with brass ferrule.

A previous owner has punch marked 'L' to the top of the handle.

813/16 inches (223mm) overall length.
