A scarce and very little used RAPIER No 600 fore plane by THE ANGLO SCOTTISH TOOL COMPANY of Gateshead.

Similar to the STANLEY No 6 and RECORD No 06 planes.

Fitted with a near full length 2³/₈ inch RAPIER 'best Sheffield tool steel' cutter and matching cap iron.  A little over 2¹/₄ inches remain below the slot.

Retains the majority of its original finish throughout with patches of the trade label to the cap.

Very good black plastic handles.

All parts move freely and tighten securely.
