A fine and little used pair of vintage wooden ice skates or speed skates by NOOITGEDAGT & ZONES of IJlst, Friesland, Netherlands.

The company was established in 1865 and although their main business was the production of woodworking tools and toys, NOOITGEDAGT were also one of the largest manufacturers of wooden ice skates.

Each skate is marked 'J NOOITGEDAGT & ZN IJLST' on the blade.

Both are stamped '8317 29' on the wood with 'L' and 'R' to denote left or right.

Short leather strap to each.

These skates have seen very little use and retain the majority of their original finish throughout, please see images.
