A scarce STANLEY Australia 45mm or 1 3/4 inch wide bevel edge chisel.

According to what we can find online, STANLEY produced tools in Australia from 1963 until 1990 when production was moved to Taiwan.

The blade markings are no longer visible but would have read 'STANLEY AUSTRALIA' with the size in imperial and metric.

Very good black and yellow composite handle with the STANLEY trade mark.
