A graduated same owner set of 6 WARD & PAYNE firmer gouges.

Approximate sizes: 1/4, 5/16, 7/16, 9/16, 3/4 and 1 inch

The two smaller gouges are marked 'WARD' with the other four marked 'WARD CAST STEEL, all have the Hammer over Anvil trade mark.

All have tapered octagonal hardwood handles, each is stamped with numbers from 2 to 12.

Previous owner's stamps 'R HAMMOND'.

Between 9¹/₄ - 10³/₄ inches (235 - 273mm) overall length.

Wonderful.
