The plate is marked 'MATHIESON GLASGOW' with 5 holes is sizes 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8 and 1/2 inch.

Also stamped '1' to the left of the lower mounting screw.

The bevel edged plate measures 6¹/₂ by 4⁷/₁₆ inches.

The rosewood paddle is 9¹/₄ inches overall length.

Marked 'R.E BROWN' and 'JOHN. BROWN. OUSBY' on one end.
