A miniature boxwood thumb smoothing plane, believed to be by Abijah EYRE of Euston Road London.

Marked 'EYRE' to the toe, fitted with a ³/₄" parallel steel blade iron,  3⁷/₁₆ inches overall length

The other hollow or concave sole thumb plane has an ebony or similar (?) mouth insert, is only 3⁵/₁₆ inches long, fitted with ⁵/₈" wide cutter.
