A rare and little used RECORD No.015 block plane.

The longer, 7 inch version of the RECORD 09 1/2 block plane.

Only offered between 1934 and 1943, very few examples of this model appear.

Marked 'RECORD No 015' on the brass mouth adjuster wheel.

Fitted with a near full length 1⁵/₈ inch RECORD best crucible cast tungsten steel cutter, 1¹/₄ inches remain below the slot.

Like the No.09 1/2, the No.015 has an adjustable mouth to allow for coarse or fine work.

Retains the majority of its original finish throughout with part trade label to the top of the cap.
