STANLEY 69 Hand Beader *SOLD*
A very good example of the rare STANLEY No.69 hand beader.
Produced by STANLEY from 1898 to 1917 and far harder to find than the No.66 beader.
'STANLEY No 69' is cast into the body in front of the mouth with 'PAT 2 86' cast into the cap.
Very good beechwood handle with nickel plated ferrule, the ferrule has a hairline split, please see close-up image.
The 69 hand beader shares its patent and uses the same cutters as the No.66 beader. One cutter is fitted in this beader.
Some nickel plating loss patches to the sides and sole.
A tidy example of a rare little tool.
