A very good American STANLEY No.8 C corrugated jointer plane. 

Fitted with a good length 2⁵/₈ inch STANLEY blade iron with the notched rectangle trade mark and matching cap iron. 2 inches remain below the slot.

The back of the iron is also stamped '438' indicating that it was produced in the last quarter of 1948.

Dismantled, cleaned, checked, oiled and reassembled.

Retains almost all of its original black finish.

Excellent rosewood handles.

Some minor plating loss to the front of the lever cap.

All parts move freely and tighten securely.

24 inches (actual 23¹³/₁₆") overall length.
